Career guidance as a key factor in the conscious choice of profession, strategies for reducing academic risks


Despite existing approaches to professional self-determination, there remains a gap between applicants’ expectations and actual job requirements, leading to significant academic and economic losses. The study, based on a survey and in-depth interviews with students of the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, identified key factors influencing the stability of professional choice and the reasons for changing the educational trajectory.
