The article is devoted to the organization and conduct of a demonstration exam on WorldSkills standards – an innovation designed at the state level to give a qualification assessment of the knowledge, skills and abilities of graduates of vocational schools with an assessment of international standards. The importance of this type and format of the exam for graduates of vocational educational institutions, as well as for industries and industries in which skilled workers are in demand is shown.
