Abstract:
Introduction. The article addresses the authors’ approach to solving the problem
of formation of professional communication abilities during information and digital
training of future vocational education teachers.
Aim. To examine the concept of “professional communication abilities” in terms
of computer modelling readiness; to present a pedagogical technique for the formation
of professional communication abilities in the context of completing the transdisciplinary
module “Computer modelling” and industrial and pedagogical practice.
Methods. The following approaches were used as the methodological basis of the
study: modular competence-based approach (general principles of the formation
of the professional communication abilities during the information and digital training);
logical and informational approach (for the correct display of the conceptual apparatus
of research and the evaluation of the possibilities for using logical principles and
operations for processing and presenting data and information); trans professional
approach (reveals the features of the content construction of information and digital
training, within which the formation of the professional communication abilities
is carried out). Among the main research methods are: analysis of scientific publications,
study of the students’ training experience at the Department of Engineering and
Vocational Training in Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy of RSVPU.
Results. The use of the developed pedagogical technique for the formation of the
professional communication abilities allows for the establishment of more effective
communication, a change in the communication style, and contributes to the
development of professional and personal qualities of students.
Scientific novelty. The conceptual basis of the presented pedagogical technique
for the formation of professional communication abilities can be used to develop
communication skills during the training of vocational education teachers.
