In the article, based on interviews (n = 18), an analysis of the students’ attitude to the virtual class model is presented. In a pandemic, students and teachers urgently mastered a new learning scenario. Based on the research results, the advantages and disadvantages of a virtual classroom are highlighted. Recommendations are given to teachers and students to overcome barriers to online learning in the context of digitalization of higher education.
