Аннотация:
A study of the work of general educational institutions in the Irkutsk Region shows that one of the problems negatively affecting the management of the process of education of students with health limitations is insufficient level of preparedness, primarily in terms of motivation, of a significant number of teachers for implementation of the adapted basic general education programmes in accordance with the requirements of the federal state educational standards (FSES). To increase the level of motivational readiness of school teachers for management of the process of education of students with health limitations, certain organisational and methodology approaches to self-education were developed subject to the current state of the regional teaching practice and areas of focus of the inclusive education teachers. The approaches proposed in the article are aimed at increasing the motivational readiness of teachers for education of students with health limitations under inclusive education conditions by identifying professional challenges and interests, developing an indicative list of self-education topics and work plans for the academic год in the course of the supplemental professional programmes implemented at the Education Development Institute of Irkutsk Region. The following figures show that the work being performed is efficient enough: approximately 95% of teachers positively appraised such information and methodological support; 87% responded that they would use the offered topic and plan at the end of training; more than 30% are going to apply their successful experience gained in the course of elf-education to the institute’s events. The article dwells upon self-education as a tool for improvement of professional motivation of inclusive education teachers to implement adapted basic general education programmes.
