Publication Ethics
The journal "Vocational Education and the Labour Market" adheres to the rules developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
All participants in the publication preparation process must follow the standards of ethical behavior listed below.
Author. Right and responsibility
By submitting an article for review, the author agrees to the terms of the Offer Agreement for the publication of materials and guarantees, for their part, compliance with the rules of publication ethics.
The copyright agreement between the Publisher and the author/authors is concluded on the terms specified in the Offer Agreement and has legal force without being signed by two parties.
Copyrights to published materials are secured in accordance with the norms of Chapter 70 "Copyright" of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation.
By submitting the manuscript for publication, the author confirms that it is the original result of their own scientific work.
All persons who have made a significant contribution to the presented research should be listed as co-authors of the work.
The author notifies the editorial office of a potential conflict of interest.
If using the results of other persons’ research and observations (other people's scientific papers, private consultations, etc.), the author is obliged to provide appropriate references. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable.
The author correctly cites their previous works, avoids self-plagiarism in the manuscript and artificially increasing the volume of publications (salami-slicing).
The author follows the comments and remarks of the reviewer when finalizing the manuscript or refutes them.
The author conducts correspondence with the reviewer through the editor.
Editorial office. Rights and responsibility
The editorial board of the journal decides on the publication of the material based on its scientific significance, originality and compliance with the subject of the journal, as well as taking into account the opinions of reviewers.
The content of the manuscript is evaluated regardless of the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious views, citizenship or political preferences.
The editorial board ensures a qualified and timely review of the materials proposed for publication.
In its activities, the editorial board is guided by the COPE Code of Conduct and the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation regarding libel, copyright, legality and plagiarism.
The editorial board does not publish the final version of the article without authors’ agreement.
Reviewing. Responsibility of the reviewer
Accepted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, which assumes that reviewers do not receive information about the author(s) of the manuscript, and the author is not notified about the identity of the reviewer of their manuscript, receiving the reviewers' opinion from the editorial board of the journal.
The reviewer warns the editorial board about the presence of a conflict of interest before starting work with the article.
The reviewer does not transfer information about the article and the data contained in it to third parties.
The reviewer does not use the information obtained from the article for personal and commercial purposes.
The reviewer does not draw conclusions about the quality of the article based on subjective data: personal attitude to the author, their gender, age, religion.
