In view of changes in education, teachers’ professional development becomes particularly important. This raises the question of finding effective tools and methods of teachers’ professional development. The aim of the study is to identify current directions of professional competence development based on the data obtained from the study on the difficulties the teachers face during the implementation of professional and pedagogical activities. As a result of the study, priority areas for the professional competence development, as well as problem areas of didactics of vocational education were identified.This study is the first stage in the development of a didactic multimedia complex, which can become an effective tool for the organisation of teachers’ professional development.

Introduction. Artificial intelligence (AI) enters all areas of our lives: in work processes, learning processes, in everyday affairs. The inevitable development of AI systems will lead to the fact that the whole life of a person will change, and psychology will not be an exception. The aim of the article is to outline a range of issues related to real and/or predicted changes in mental processes that will occur during human interaction with AI; to consider promising areas of AI research in the field of psychology based on the analysis of cases of its application.
The problem of “turnover» of industrial personnel in the late 1940s is essential for studying the choice of the path of development of postwar Soviet society, so its individual aspects have repeatedly attracted the attention of researchers. The purpose of this article is to investigate two variants of proposals to solve the problem of personnel turnover (originating from the USSR Ministry of Labour Reserves and Gosplan). Using comparative-historical and systemic methods, the differences in some approaches to its solution are identified, and it is shown that the fate of the projects was largely determined by the tendencies of situational struggle in the Soviet leadership. The results of the study may be useful in the process of studying history (including the history of vocational education) of the second half of the 1940s.
The article attempts to explain and explore the empathic competence of psychology students at different stages of professional development. A descriptive experiment employing psychological testing was conducted with first and fourth-year students at Nizhnevartovsk State University, specializing in Psychology under the profile “Educational and Developmental Psychology.” The results revealed that students in their final year of study exhibited more developed empathic abilities. However, first-year students’ scores should not be considered low, as they demonstrated important structural components of empathy, including a sufficiently high development of empathic channels, indicating a conscious professional choice.
