Theory and practic of vocational education and professional development

The article discusses the possibilities of using the European system of credit units (ECVET) for the formation of individual educational trajectories. ECVET technical specifications are analyzed in the context of geographic mobility. It is concluded that the application of ECVET principles is promising for building individual educational paths in the system of Russian vocational education and training.

The article deals with the application of various game technologies in the educational process in the light of the need for changes in the process of organizing the learning process. The article presents the difference between gamification and the use of games themselves, as well as different approaches to understanding the term “gamification”. Examples of both variants of game technologies are given. The experience and the outcome of the application of game live-action “From chicken to credit”, allowing to simulate in the classroom the evolution of socio-economic systems from primitive society to a modern market system that is used in teaching the discipline “Economics” (“Economic theory”) when teaching students in non-economic areas of training.

The article presents a study of the labor market of the Sverdlovsk region, the study of which in modern socio-economic conditions is the most important factor in understanding the stage of professional training in higher education. The demand and supply for highly qualified personnel in the main areas of socially useful activities in this region allow us to determine the prospects for the development of the labor market, on the one hand, and on the other – to predict the professional future of students who will enter the labor market tomorrow.

The article presents a scientific analysis of the content and essence of the competency “Systemic and critical thinking” according to the Federal State Educational Standard, reveals a connection with the formation of professional thinking of a university graduate. The binary nature of the formation of professional thinking is revealed, that is, this process is presented at two levels: invariant (systemicity, criticality, consistent thinking) and variative (features and qualities of the profile professional thinking itself - medical, legal, etc.).

Based on a large number of scientific studies the authors show the nature of mentoring as a diverse social phenomenon, which is not something new. At certain degree it has existed in all periods of development of our country. At the same time, two periods of scientists’ interest in the problem are distinguished: Soviet (70–90s) and Russian (2000s). The authors pay special attention to the fact that nowadays mentoring is an object of research of various sciences (philosophy, history, economics, pedagogy, psychology), each of them finds their own specific subject of scientific research.

The author offers a critical discussion of the theoretical components of the development of the scientific potential of the staff of state vocational educational institutions of secondary vocational education based on the solution of professional problems in educational, innovative and research activities. Tools are proposed for building the professional potential of the master of vocational training as an intellectual work worker in secondary vocational education.

The article presents a functional scheme of continuous professional education of gas and oil workers in the conditions of public-private partnership and network interaction in the process of modernization and reform (on the example of the oil and gas industry of the Udmurt Republic). The article considers the contour-network interconnection between educational organizations of the Resource center for training personnel for the oil and gas industry, employers, other organizations and institutions, which provides organizational and pedagogical conditions for continuing professional education.

The article presents the author’s conceptual model of managing the development of competitiveness of a professional educational organization, considers its two interrelated levels: the methodological basis and the economic system of a professional educational organization itself. The development of the competitiveness of a professional educational organization is shown as a transition from one stable state to another on the basis of “positive feedback”.
